Ever wonder what 'Canadian cuisine' might consist of? We haven't, but Antler nonetheless introduces Cracovians to 'poutine' - an apparently common Canuck/Quebecois delicacy of hand-cut fries smothered in rich, brown gravy and topped with sharp cheddar cheese. Guess what? It's gosh darn delicious! In addition to that scrumptious side dish, this small, table-less, student-aimed outfit has entered Kraków's international burger battle under the red maple leaf banner that hangs over the bar. It does an able job, with premium beef ground on-site daily (there's also a venison burger available), choice toppings and budget prices right in the Old Town, but aside from the poutine and naming their burgers after Canadian cities we confirmed exist with our atlas, Antler doesn't do much else to be, well, non-American.
