Murals have become so popular in Poland, from origins of advertising, to artistic expression, and it now seems, an expression of faith. The Dominican order in Łódź, to mark its 800th birthday in 2017, decided to sponsor several murals, found across the city. They can be found in various locations around the city and depict St. Dominic's vision of a tree filled with birds, which all fly after the tree is cut down. The main mural can be found at Pomorska 22, whereas this one, designed by Paulina Nawrot shows birds flying away as St. Dominic sits on a tree in contemplation.
