The Vision of St. Dominic I

Murals have become so popular in Poland, from origins of advertising, to artistic expression, and it now seems, an expression of faith. The Dominican order in Łódź, to mark its 800th birthday in 2017, decided to sponsor several murals, found across the city. Designed by Paulina Nawrot and Ola Adamczuk, they can be found in various locations around the city - this is the main one, showing St. Dominic having a vision of a tree within which many birds dwelt, before flying away as the tree was cut down.
