This historic hall - built for the Recovered Territiories Exhibition in 1948 - has housed the Energy Systems Automation Institute (Instytut Automatyki Systemów Energetycznych, or IASE) since 1949. What do they do? Automate energy systems is our guess, and kudos to them on their longevity. They also rent out part of their space for special exhibits and events in Wrocław, which nicely hearkens back to the original function of the building. Located opposite Centennial Hall, with the Iglica in between, it might be the first part of the Exhibition Grounds you see, and worth finding out if anything's on for the public inside.
