Theatre on the Island

Crossing the tail of Łazienki's serpentine lake, follow the path that leads along the embankment until you hit the park's Amphitheatre, also known as the 'Theatre on the Island.' The theatre hosts productions throughout the summer, though unless you fancy seeing Henry V in Polish these will hold little interest for foreign visitors. (There are exceptions: ballet and contemporary dance performances sometimes are kaput on here.)
