Polish food abounds in Warsaw -- you can get pierogi all over the place. But when it comes to really good, really modern Polish food, you have to know where to look and Syrena Irena is the place to start. By focusing on making really excellent handcrafted pierogi, the chefs of this iconic space have honed their craft to a science. On the menu find a variety of pierogi you won't find elsewhere—sweet dumplings with plums in brown butter and sugar, and savory ones with duck and plum—and then customize that order with any number of toppings from caramalized onion to "mermaid sauce."

It's named after the iconic Syrena (siren or mermaid) of Warsaw, and this spot has a ton of little modern touches, from the art to the neon signs to the high ceilings. This spot is not only delicious, it's photo-worthy too!
