The Villa Mayer is an excellent example of bourgeois and historical architecture with a strategically designed garden. This classic bourgeois villa built at the turn of the 20th century was once home to dr. Fran Mayer, a lawyer and a longtime respected Mayor of Šoštanj. Take a look at the permanent museum collection of sculptural works by Ivan Napotnik, Zvone Čebulj's private home collection or the unique horticultural collection of a well-known Šoštanj gardener, Alojz Kojc.
