The Gril homestead is an eco-museum which lies on the former wine-growing slope in Lipje, a village near Velenje. There's a vegetable and herbal garden, beehive, vineyard and orchard, all of which are taken care of by the members of the local community. Today, the Gril homestead is one of the few well-preserved examples of the winemakers' heritage, a cultural monument of local importance and a place for social events and ethnological displays of land cultivation and crops harvesting and processing. Upon entering the house, you will catch a distinctive smell of the smoke kitchen.
