The Mraz family's guesthouse offers comfortable accommodation at the edge of the village of Velenje Gorica just southeast of Velenje proper. Surrounded by forests and fields, the place has a quiet relaxing atmosphere, yet is only about 1.5km from city centre, which can be reached with a free local shuttle bus or a pleasant 15-minute walk. The house itself is in alpine style with sloping roofs that nearly reach the ground, giving it the appearance of new-age church or some kind of grounded spacecraft. In addition to rooms, there is a dining area and separate common room for relaxing or socialising with other guests.
