Vinarium Lendava is a tower standing over 50m into the air, offering all who reach the top an unrivalled 360° view of the local area. Visitors can climb 240 stairs or take a lift to the observation deck, where on clear days you can see the lowlands and hills of Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia and Austria. Once you’ve enjoyed the views head down to the ground floor to enjoy delectable local cuisine paired with local wines.

Perhaps foremost among these is Prleška tünka, or Prekmurje ham, produced using a protected method and going very well with a glass of red. Another must try dish is bograč, which is similar to goulash and even has its own festival each August.
