We have a confession to make: we really don't like overpaying for things. In fact some (ie many) people we know might even disparagingly refer to us as being 'cheap'. This was the reason it took us so long to visit Ljubljana's first dedicated whiskey shop on Rimska Cesta, as from our experience specialty shops tend to charge a premium. However, much to our delight (and our liver's chagrin), when we finally did drop by one day we found that the prices here are actually lower (in some cases significantly so) than anywhere else in town, and the selection can't be beat. You can also sample some of the open bottles, and get very in depth explanations of all the handcrafted peaty goodness lining the shelves.
