We have had way too many conversations in our life discussing the differences between mini and crazy golf (although as Steven Toast said it is fairly simple, one is mini and one is crazy). Regardless of the version, we are huge fans of this form of entertainment and almost inevitably seek it out wherever we go. Tivoli Park in Ljubljana is the place to go for the small links when in town, with a relaxing modern café adjoined to boot. In spring and summer, the course is even lit for night golfing, with some music and snacks thrown in for good measure.
