In the city centre, but down a side street, through a passageway, across a courtyard, around a corner and down some stairs, when you finally step through the door you feel a bit like you've found a hidden old-timey saloon. Although the menu includes things like soup, salad and pasta, there are really only two primary reasons to come here: meat and beer. The latter comes in the form of Steigel on draught (among others), while the most popular food options are chicken wings, pork ribs, burgers and steaks. Our visits usually include over-ordering side dishes like baked potatoes with bacon, onion rings and mozzarella sticks.
