Gostilna Na Vihri

There are more than a few traditional Slovene restaurants in and around Ljubljana, but Gostilna na Vihri is the only one we know of that offers visitors the chance to experience an authentic all-inclusive Slovene weekend, with their day trip to the countryside package. Available on Saturdays and Sundays (with registration by Friday), in addition to a filling lunch of traditional cuisine, it also includes a homemade brandy tasting, Slovenian folk music and a short walk to the nearby village church, all of which is accompanied by breathtaking scenery of the Slovenian Alps! For those without their own transport they even offer pick-up and drop-off service from the end of Ljubljana's #5 bus line.
