Situated on the corner just beside the Prešeren monument. The shop is part of the social enterprise of the Vincent Draksler Foundation of which there are two others in Kranj. Their aim is to develop programs to rehabilitate or train the less advantaged, such as disabled or older unemployed persons, and give them the skills to pursue a career. They stock a huge range of traditional Slovenian crafts and souvenirs, all of which have been made to an incredibly high standard. You’ll find leather goods, pottery, clothing, tote-bags and toys. By making a purchase you’ll be helping to support this wonderful organisation.
