Jerzy Grotowski Institute

Calling it an institute is a bit pompous, but this cultural centre (established back in 1990) does some cool things to keep the legacy of legendary Polish theatre director Jerzy Grotowski alive. Their main square headquarters regularly hosts theatre workshops, "laboratories", and performances, mainly in the experimental spirit; they also publish books, magazines, and films, while their extensive archive is a treasure trove for theatre lovers.
