Studio Theatregallery

Located in the Palace of Culture & Science, and originally opened here as the Teatr Klasyczny (Classic Theatre), the venue now known as STUDIO teatrgaleria has a long and storied history amongst Warsaw's arts and culture scene. Under new artistic management since 2016, this creative venue hosts a range of alternative events and experiments produced by artists from a range of disciplines. A politically-charged space that isn't afraid to challenge the establishment, Studio's repertoire primarily consists of plays and happenings that push the boundaries of artistic theatre. As the name implies, they also host a gallery with regular exhibitions taking place (admission varies), and strive to create a more open space where dialogues and discussions between various fields of art take place.
