Dating back to the 15th century, this charming Gothic structure with pointed gables is built around a guardhouse tower, once was part of the now-ruined Teutonic Castle.
The Burghers' Court in Toruń.
Ironically, the rubble of the same castle, which was destroyed by the townspeople in 1454, was probably used to construct the Burghers' Court and Manor. The building served as the summer residence of the Brotherhood of St. George, which included wealthy city patricians. The entire complex was previously used as a school hostel, and is is currently the seat of the Toruń Partner Cities Society.
