This prestigious theatre and cultural venue just north of the centre features three stages and a two-story foyer with rotating exhibitions. Its history reaches back to the early 19th century, and in addition to regular theatrical performances for adults and children, the theatre is responsible for organising the National Talia Comedy Festival each autumn, and its children's edition, Mała Talia, every Nov/Dec. Note that the theatre does not schedule any productions in July and August.
