Gorlice’s tourist information centre is not just on the market square, but rather in it, set inside a modern multifunctional facility in a subterranean sidewall of the square (look for the columns). Opened in 2013 after the renovation of the Rynek, the City History Pavilion serves as a point for tourists to collect info, chat with staff and discover all there is to do locally, as well as a cultural centre for residents, hosting concerts, film screenings, exhibits, lectures, workshops and more. There are also two computers with free internet access and you can pick up souvenirs as well. The friendly staff should be able to answer any questions you have (like 'where can I rent a bike?' or ‘where can I eat something other than pizza?’), so local explorers would be wise to drop in upon first arrival.
