Fort IXa - Witzleben

For stag groups or those looking to tie in a bit of fun with their trip then Fort 9A might be an appropriate prospect. Easily accessible from the city centre, Witzleben and its surrounding park now plays host to a paintball company and allows people the chance to dash around 8,000 square metres of wooded terrain full of corridors, bunkers and trenches. While perhaps not what was initially in mind when the fort was being designed and built, the place does at least make use of its setting and the atmosphere is worth the visit alone. Note that unfortunately it isn't open to visitors who aren't interested in playing paintball.
