A long-standing, traditional restaurant squirrelled away in the complex of buildings at the centre of the Town Square, here you step into a bright interior, complete with stained glass panels, floral touches, and a traditional Polish menu, strongly centred around the unique offerings of Wielkopolska (Greater Poland, the region around Poznań). Such dishes include duck with cabbage and dumplings, czernina (duck blood soup), potatoes with gzik (cottage cheese dip), gray dumplings with cabbage, bamber blood sausage, homemade nalewki (traditional alcoholic infusions). Keep in mind, they also have a breakfast card that they serve until 11:45.

We dined here on a gorgeous September evening so we sat outside. It was quiet, the food was superb, in particular the golonka, and there was plenty of it. And amazingly, 4 mains, one starter, four beers, 7 sides and 4 coffees came to less than 200zl. Cheap as frytki.
