A Nóż Widelec hero image

Sometimes a restaurant is worth going out of the way for, and A Noż Widelec certainly falls into that category. Located a fair sight south of the city centre, this modern restaurant deep in the suburbs proves that Poznań's strong gastronomy scene isn't in the service of, or even dependent upon, tourism. In fact, dispensing with some of the limitations posed by Poznań's historic districts allows A Nóż Widelec to have not only their own parking and a large summer garden, but also their own smokehouse and greenhouse. It also allows them to innovate when it comes to green energy, with a restaurant powered entirely by renewable sources. When it comes to the kitchen, A Nóż Widelec composes original Polish cuisine from locally-sourced ingredients with an emphasis on local accents. The food is modern, simple and rich in flavour. Owner and chef Michal Kuter’s enthusiasm shines through, and he was even featured on the cover of Poland’s ‘Food Service’ magazine; since 2023 his restaurant has been a favourite of Michelin, to the surprise of few. If you're interested in a real Polish 'farm to table' dining experience, pony up for the cab ride.
