Permanently docked in the shadow of the Old Town Hall Beejay’s features a nutty design (quarrying explosives, a model galleon) as well as a stained glass window depicting a Mexican, Indian and Scotsman. If that sounds like the start of a bad joke it most certainly isn’t – it’s the start of a bad meal. The menu is the definition of diverse, though the results aren’t so much varied as plain poor. The chef here is a gentleman of shortcuts; the curry comes from a tin and the Mexican salsa is actually ketchup – at these prices, that’s inexcusable.

I decided to try Bee Jay's restaurant yesterday. Bad choice. Bad food and bad service. You can put this opinion into Poznan IYP version next time

You want a laugh, look at the English translation of the menu. Next laugh is the food. We had American Salad. It was chopped iceberg with sweetcorn topped with dried chicken bits and jar mayyonaise sauce - poor value. An additional laugh is the toilets, they need redecorating - at least! This is just a very ordinary place masquerading as a cool joint to be seen at. The antics of the BJ bouncers on that saturday night just reinforced what a bunch of childish retards they really are
