We felt a little sorry for poor old Sherlock, a deerstalker wearing, pasty faced mannequin plonked unceremoniously in an armchair by the bar who would, no doubt, rather be at home with his beloved Stradivari, pipe and 7% solution of cocaine. Probably best to think of this place as a pub rather than a bistro as the menu is brief and heavy on beer snacks. Packed to bursting with hard drinking locals attracted to the fantastically priced 4zł beers, a few British beers are also available from 9zł. Boisterous and fun but beware of the toilet, it was a shocker when we visited. They will be opening in a new location on Piotrkowska in June 2014.

"Packed to bursting with hard drinking locals with a love of football"Been here a number of times since it recently opened. There was football on once - a Poland game (head to the superb Eclipse for that) and I would classify it as more of a trendy student bar than the more shrinking violet sounding "packed to bursting with hard drinking locals ", unless they mean me although a couple perłas. hardly represents a session of Keith Richards proportions. In fact the description far more closely resembles either Warka or the increasingly seedy Śledzik u Fabrykanta.
