If you've visited mega Natural History Museums in London or New York...well, let's temper those expectations. This small, modest museum features some admittedly sleepy permanent exhibits on local rocks, minerals, molluscs and fauna, but also boasts excellent temporary exhibits that not only occupy most of the exhibition space, but also justify admission. Perfect for the 4-14 age group, the museum also features some reptiles (who doesn't love reptiles?) and a 14,000-year-old mammoth skull. The pride of the collection, however, is the world's only fully preserved (like with skin and stuff) woolly rhinoceros. You won't see that anywhere else, and overall younger kids may find this museum more exciting than any others they visit in Kraków.
