Kasza (aka ‘kasha’ or ‘kashi’) has been a staple of the Polish diet for the better part of a millennium, although it often gets a bad rap for being boring. The creative grain brains at DKN designed an elaborate menu of simple sauce and side pairings that show off this wonder-grain’s delicious versatility. Try the buckwheat groats with bacon, dried plum and horseradish sauce or the chicken curry and black olives on pearl kasha with garlic sauce.
