With the sad demise of Katowice's legendary INQbator club, the city's dialled-up electro scene now gyrates around CEL, similarly located in the bowels of the old train station. Though the space is a bit smaller, the beautiful crowd is as blissed-out as ever, swaying on tenterhooks as Cheshire cat DJs twist the nipples of the state-of-the-art sound board. Open Friday and Saturday nights only, forget about hearing dance hits, Cel is for serious electro, techno and house music heads, and the parties don't end until the braindead dawn.
