This tiny attractive, little café/art gallery on one of Gdynia’s less trodden tourist streets has a very good reputation in the city and even won the local paper’s best new place when it opened in 2012. While we are not going to go against the masses here and we do like it, we’re possibly just not as easily pleased. The salads are very good and the range of pasta dishes is also recommendable even though, by local standards anyway, they’re a bit pricey. Don’t let us put you off – this is one of Gdynia’s better new places of recent years and that probably says more about the competition than it says about Lavenda.
