If you're a younger traveller and reading this, you may be visualising that this Blues Club will be full of washed-up middle-aged guys and tobacco smoke. While this may have once been the case, thanks to weekly open-mic nights (Blues on Tuesdays, Jazz on Wednesdays) and younger bar-staff (male and female), the demographics are now much more diverse and, thanks to some recent refurbishment, the venue is much more inviting.
It certainly delivers on the blues-front: everything, from the colour of the walls to the bands that take to the stage, is blues-related. Their concert schedule features blues artists (Thursdays), and practitioners of other genres (Sundays) come from all over the world to play here!
