This month, iconic Warsaw steakhouse Beef n’ Pepper just celebrated its 10th anniversary – ringing in a full decade of juicy steaks, decadent desserts, and an elegant atmosphere, right in the heart of the city.
Let’s dive into the history of this spot and look at what has made it so long-lasting and beloved.

Bringing American-Style Food to Warsaw
Ten years ago, the owners of Beef n’ Pepper, seeing a lack of American-style restaurants specializing in beef on the Warsaw market, decided to go out and make one themselves. They opened their restaurant on April 12, 2015, and at the time, it only had 50 seats and one bar in the central part of the restaurant, with a large, spacious open kitchen that provided visitors with a view of the chef’s work.
Since then, the Nowogrodzka 47A staple has undergone three major renovations, upping its capacity to a whopping 350 seats along with an additional brand called Pepper Events, which is an event space for up to 500 people. The owners approach all events individually and are responsible for planning, preparing and organizing everything at the highest level.
Today, the restaurant has three large kitchens, including one production kitchen where daily operations are run, along with two expenditure kitchens which serve organized groups, larger events and individual guests. The restaurant has an attached glass garden all year round and in the summer, when they open the windows wide, the sense of peace and relaxation flows over you like the warm air from the courtyard.
Additionally, in the summer season, a summer garden surrounded by beautiful, illuminated cherry laurel trees is open in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is pet-friendly, the waiters will always provide water for your pet, a bed and toys!

A Menu to Remember
And the main courses are truly show stoppers, like the Classic Beef and Pepper Burger with 300 grams of beef, caramelized red onion, tartar sauce and Jalapeño peppers, which is a must for burger lovers. Also unmissable are the boneless beef rib in plum glaze and delicate beef cheeks – both prepared at a low temperature for a long time, causing the meat to melt in your mouth.

But frankly, no matter what you choose, you’re bound to be wowed. The restaurant relies on the highest quality beef steaks, which are specially seasoned and selected like Hereford sirloin and entrecote steaks, as well as steaks from Polish heifers that are wet-aged for 28 days and dry-aged for 40 days.
Plus, find premium steaks here including Filet Mignon Black Angus, rib-eye from Argentina and Wagyu sirloin in the highest A5 fat content scale. Try Tomahawak from a Polish heifer, T-Bone steak or U.S.A Prime, Central steak or Irish beef steaks! The meat is grilled on a fire grill with volcanic lava, giving it a specific - and sought-after - taste and aroma.
Of course, there’s more than meat on the menu! The whole menu is complemented by excellent desserts prepared by the pastry chef, including a stellar American cheesecake with berry compote and a berry accompaniment.
For drinks, the wine and cocktail menu is impressive, with premium wines selected by an experienced sommelier. The bar itself is well-stocked with whiskey and bourbon from around the world, which experienced bartenders use to fashion up incredible, and picture-perfect, drinks.
An Incredible Atmosphere
Beyond the food, the physical experience of dining at Beef n’ Pepper is incredible – and that’s largely due to the atmosphere which has been created with incredible attention to detail. Throughout the interior you’ll find a lot of wood and steel, creating a kind of modern industrial style. This is accented by LED lighting, golden lamps and LED inscriptions on the walls. Gold, grey and black permeate the space, making it feel both elegant and cozy.
“A restaurant is not only a kitchen, a bar and a room, it is above all a well-coordinated team, a smiling and helpful crew. This is the success for the longevity of the restaurant. The atmosphere is created by the people who are on shift in the restaurant, where you can feel at home,” the restaurant wrote on their concept for the space.
And all of their work and attention to detail has paid off – over the last 10 years, Beef n’ Pepper has collected a lot of awards including Restaurant of the Year, Golden Forks, one of the 50 best Steak Houses in the World by the Big7EnjoyTravel.com blog, and more.
During their blowout anniversary party on April 12, the restaurant thanks to its customers with gifts, competitions, prizes and more, along with a beautiful bronze bull weighing 300 kg that was erected in front of the restaurant. A true marker of its American style heritage and its position as a fixture in the city.
