With the history of the original Figovec dating back as far as the year of American independence, this much talked-about restaurant-inn opened its doors to a hungry public towards the end of 2017. More ‘Slovene’ than their sister restaurant Slovenska Hiša, this is the place to come for excellently prepared local dishes to keep meat-eaters and those who prefer a vegetarian option more than happy. The extensive menu, that features the appearance of much food served on a wooden plate, blends the old and the new perfectly, plus there’s an impressive list of Slovene wines from every corner of the country.
