Szumski Mural

Created in 2012 by Stanisław 'SZUM' Szumski for the Katowice Street Art Festival, this metaphysical piece depicts miners looking like warriors. Please note, do not enter the courtyard at Teatralna 2a as it can be risky - there is an automatic gate into the courtyard, only open as residents enter/exit by car, so you could get stuck inside! We recommend seeing this piece from the other side, across the footpath over the Rawa River, found a short distance away at the end of the street, and turning left.
