19th century composer Louis Spohr (born Ludewig Spohr) had quite the life, from initial humiliation all the way through to influence and borderline genius, and there is no better place to explore the life of the Kassel’s honorary citizen than at his official museum. Many of his personal items are found here, all soundtracked by the sumptuous work of the great man himself.
