The German Wallpaper Museum documents the long and storied history of that most innocuous of ordinary items. The museum has been in existence since 1923 but has struggled to find a permanent home, a struggle that currently sees it confined to the online world while a new building is built. We look forward to when it will come to pass, whenever that might be, but the online collection is well worth checking out.
