Gdynia Film Centre is a unique cultural place in the heart of Gdynia. It is the meeting place of both cinematography enthusiasts and those aspiring to be ones. Actors and film directors present their works during cyclically organised events to which anyone who is ready to be immersed in the world of film is cordially invited. The Centre includes the Cinema Studio, consisting of three screening rooms, their names referring to former Gdynia’s beloved movie theatres. The film repertoire presented there is ambitious, artistic, often experimental and originating in different parts of the world. The Centre also includes Gdynia Film School offering the 2.5-year program taught by film professionals. Another part of the Centre is the Gallery where film artists present their work and where many cinematography workshops happen. The Centre also includes a bookstore, restaurant and café.
