It is easy to forget that open-air cinemas are somewhat new in Berlin, and Freiluftkino Kreuzberg was way ahead of the curve when it opened back in 1994. The variety of films on show is second to none, with a schedule that changes daily and touches every corner of the cinematic globe. Foreign films are shown in original form with German subtitles, and German films get the English subtitle treatment.
