A white neo-Gothic beauty erected in 1905, St Martin's was designed by same architect who was responsible for Vienna's town hall, and it shows in the sheer verticality of the building. The church is surrounded by the walls which had to protect the earlier church from Ottoman incursions, and the interior has frescoes from the late 1930s.
