Kamnik makes a great day trip if you’re visiting from elsewhere in Slovenia, but we’d highly recommend allowing extra time so you can see and experience more of this delightful town. There are many great places to stay in the centre so you can hang out with the locals and really soak up the atmosphere, plus there’s even more choice further afield where you can enjoy numerous sports and activities or just relax and unwind. Lots of choice, however deep your pocket.
